Folsom Dam, Northern California Rivers America

About 25 miles northeast of Sacramento, there are impressive buildings, concrete gravity dam Folsom Dam, an area of 10,000 hectares, with 340 feet high and 1400 feet long. Folsom Dam resulted in the formation of Folsom Lake, a lake which is now a popular tourist attraction in Northern California rivers, America.

Folsom Dam was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the purpose of flood control, hydroelectric power, drinking water supply and irrigation, after completion in 1955, Folsom Dam was moved to the United States Bureau of Reclamation which is a project of Central Valley.
